Black Lagoon, quite a violent but entertaining Anime.
It's better to watch with English dubs, the English Subs aren't as good as many reviews will tell you, for example: The Big black guy, Dutch, actually sounds like a big black guy in the dubs instead of a Japanese man making his voice lower.

Anyway, go watch it.

On top of violence, the characters are gritty, some what believable and deep. There's a depth to alot of the characters most anime's tend to just void by going "LOL THIS IS THE NERD GUY WHO DOES THE TECH" Benny for example on the last episode of the vampire twins saga.

Come over here and find a cartoon that suits your age. I personally view anime as 'cartoons for grown ups', I enjoy it because a vast majority of anime isn't some childish shite which Western Cartoons usually are.
I know there will be arrogant morons who say " It's not cartoons, it's anime" - FFFFFFFFFFuck off! Like I said, these are my views.

It's easy to become obsessed, or, 'Otaku'. Usually the obsession of anime is .. extreme and that's where the hate often revolves: The fact of people becoming obsessed.
I do share a little hate with complete obsessions, going to 'Otacons', dressing up as Anime characters, y'know, obsessive mindless stuff like that.
