Steam ID:Don't really know, wasn't in the game and I didn't even witness it. Yet he gave me the logs, I mainly believe him.

Reason for Ban: Crussaria has slowly turned into an item-whore buisness as FORP did, and I have witnessed him do it before. Yet, the second time I have not but because it happened the first time I believe him. The man had gear, not willing to give it up. I also find it ignorant to kick without a valid reason, because we're muggers. We don't mug people every five seconds, but we show that the wilderness is a dangerous place. We give you a few hours, usually a day or two before we mug you again. We tried to mug someone with a battle axe and they yelled bloody murder in OCC for ''omg rdm mug holy shit ban'' and I find this quite odd. This is extreme item-whore, the fact that I have in first place witnessed this gives myself proof. Yet I'm not naive and know that people don't trust random people because they say you should.

How Long:Actually, I didn't see a demotion list, but I think this is deserving of a demotion or atleast a minor ban, a few hours. This isn't serious, yet it is for us because we wasted 30 minutes of our lives looking for people to rob. He also failed roleplaying by the sense that he denied roleplaying an obvious situation. He threatened to kick someone for roleplaying. Good job, good job. I expect and argument from him but lets hear it, or a flaw in my explaination. Lets hear it, because I've witnessed this first hand.

Regardless it seems like you picked a very innoportune moment to rob people from what I gather.
I'd say, at best, just move on.

Yeah he cheated a little but I'm sure I'd be peeved if I was the only one on the server, thus I get robbed.

I know he wasn't THE only one on the server but there was very few people at the time.

That was our basic job, and I couldn't move on. Due to my three hour ban I got the next hour, for the issues listing ''RP-Avoiding & RDM'' and I didn't do either. Yet, luckily, the ban he placed was accidently 3 minutes and I could soon rejoin. Peoples' idea of random deathmatch is to just kill someone, rp or without rp and apparently it's 100% impossible to kill someone else without throwing themselves on the floor, crying. The ''Arro Kree'' probably can roleplay alright, but the fact that he attempted to ban me for something that didn't require punishment, tells me an inexperience. He spent five minutes PMing me about how what I did was wrong, ect. The roleplay avoid part was simply because I has to go eat dinner when Whyku walked up to me in a black robe saying ''WE KNOW YOU'RE A FUCKING NECROMANCER YOU HAZ AURA.'' and I did want to leave, but I wouldn't do it without a valid reason. I was actually relieved I had to go eat dinner. I was banned 12 hours last night for 'too many complaints' and most of them are me, supposedly 'rdming' and 'avoiding rp'.

Mind this graphics card is quite old, it heats up after three hours of straight gameplay. I usually crash with VortexBufferCache or something and 'Open Gl Has Stopped Responding' and I know this isn't about it but hey. I mentioned it in the request, so I might as well.

Sadly, my first post on this forum is going to have to be a slight argument.

You see - while he may have been the only one on that night; and sure maybe I did rob him with barely anybody on, he still avoided role play by threatening me with his administration powers. I didn't understand what I did wrong. I gave him a time zone of up to five minutes - but he just sat there either pretending to be away or attempting to perform but deleting what he was writing.

I was sure I did everything right that I could. I persuaded him into somewhere more private, I gave him a chance to run - and when he did not: I started the countdown and let him react; but he continued not to. And when it hit zero I attempted... I didn't powergame, I'm sure. I gave him a chance to get out of the way of my attacks, run or deflect them and try to attack me. He just didn't say anything, at all. He wasn't away either because he was 'talking' and either PM'ing someone or deleting his text.

After I lunged at him he pulled out his physgun and threatened a kick. I don't understand: Why should I have been kicked?

I'd also like to add he pulled this same card earlier on a friend. I didn't exactly hear what was happening; but my friend told me he was ambushing people on the roads and he ambushed the same guy; he threatened a kick and just walked away when he was loosing.

First off, I didn't even ban you I kicked you for not responding. I messaged you up to 10 pm'd asking you to explain yourself and then I kicked you when you blatantly wouldn't respond and after I got a bunch of OOC complaints about your running around minge jumping and robbing people randomly. You do /me grabs you and I actually ROLEPLAY and say /me gets caught by suprised and grabbed. and When you go /me slits your throat and you swing wildly and kill me I don't call that rp, I call rp-avoidance because instead of actually engaging in roleplay you do 2 /mes and kill me. I even warned you I would kick you if didn't respond to which I did less than an hour later because I wasn't getting any response from you even when you were standing right infront of me.

And you ManiaKnight, I'm the only person on the server and you come up to me randomly asking if I wanted to make some coin and I talk with you for a bit and I agree to help you, to which you lead me to an unsold house and pull out a blade and try to rob me.

Literally the only character interactions I had that day are people telling me I can make some money then leading me away then pulling a knife on me, the only character interaction on this server is people robbing people (which is just item whores who bitch at people for being item whores) which really needs to change because all it does is deter playerbase and cause needless drama.

Maybe. But I'm asking what I did wrong to deserve a potential kick. This is all I'm asking. You confused me and I thought I did something wrong; so please tell me if I missed a step in my role play. Because from what I experienced, it was just me trying to make some money - and instead ending up with a threat to be kicked.

And I wasn't trying to item whore if that's what you were implying. Besides honest work; I'm trying to save up enough Crowns to buy a house and furnish it for me and my friends... and if I need to steal a few Crowns, regardless of possibly dying in the process, so be it. It's my characters personality.

In the end you left me upset and confused; and questioning my role play in that situation. What rule did I violate? Please help me out here...

First of all who is Energius.. must be one of them new guys. Okay next to that the server isn't all about robbing, Energius I have no idea who you are and how you got your TO but you clearly haven't been on the server longer than an hour.
Because I've been on Crussaria since the start, and I mostly see people rping in a tavern they talk about their things like their religion or how they few the nobles, or trying to hunt creatures, training up their skills and interact with their own PBG's and etc.

Actually, I barely see any robbing I think that maybe about 5% of the whole server is abouting robbing. Yes that's still a lot, but it isn't like you're claiming the whole server.
I think a lot of other "Crussarians" can agree with me on this, especially the other Administrators. And yes of course we have a bit of drama everyday, but all of HGN's servers have this, it just happens when you play in a community(SORRY EXILE, I KNOW ITS NETWORK :p) this big.

Now, evidance is kinda lacking though I would say:

- Support for a ban
+ For some kind of punishments, because as I view it right now it does sound like bad admin work.

You'd be surprised Recreas. I haven't been on for a while but I was on yesterday for about 4-5 hours and spent almost the entirety of that time yelling at people for robwhoring, mingelooting, itemwhoring (ie attempting to treat chests and the like that were in buildings as actual chests and trying to get me to give them crowns for stealing them), dming, powergaming (an unrelated player to this post somehow decided that getting burned and blasted about 3 times in the face with various magic spells, a crossbow, and a long sword blow was somehow completely fine and able to whip out his bow and try to arrow me) and general minging. There's been an influx of extremely shitty players recently. My day yesterday began having to deal with Rommel (the OP) and Whyku in an extremely stupid disagreement (that in my opinion was mostly Rommel's fault) and ended with me having to tell Rommel that calling a player a faggot is completely unacceptable and to stop attempting to rob or kill every single person he meets (he shortly thereafter killed cgge with a claymore). In short, it is very ironic that Rommel's first sentence in the OP is him complaining that "Crussaria has turned into an item-whoring business" when as far as I could tell from what I saw of him yesterday, items are all he and his band of 2 or 3 other friends cares about. Rommel you're on very thin ice with me after what I had to deal with last night. I suggest you develop some common sense soon if you want to keep playing on Crussaria.

As for Engerius it would have been nice if Silver had told us who he is but apparently he helped with the map and is a friend of Silver so therefore he has TO powers. Should he have kicked Rommel for attempting to rob him? Probably not but Rommel could stand to learn how to RP in ways that don't involve actively griefing other players.

I agree with you on some points, yet we're not doing it for the items. We do it for the souls for my character. As Rovanger stated (not getting him in this) there necromancers need souls to stay powerful. I kill on a regular basis for a good reason. Those other two people are my IC mercs.

Your body count is astronomically high, soul absorption or not. You probably killed at least 5 people yesterday and attempted to kill both me and Plunger. That's 7 people. I'm pretty sure in 2 and a half years of playing on all of HGN's servers my total body count is barely into double digits. Yours after a week is already nearing that mark. You don't need to kill people constantly to keep your strength up and the fact that you kill them and then immediately loot them of every thing you possibly can means it's not just RP you're doing this for.

So you need to ICly kill them to live? Why bother robbing them or actually killing? They let reflag and move on.

When ever I kill a character on the server. I just tell the player to reflag and move on.

This reminds me that our auth system should be more strict, magic is being quite abused in Crussaria by some.
But let us not go totally off-topic, it dissapoints me that indeed a lot of these news guys (noticed yesterday evening) are itemwhoring the place.
So I would say I'd be giving this a -support, but what is this thread actually about? We can't just ban somebody, especially not a new admin for making a small mistake (when the mistake is with both the admin and the player in this case). So I'd suggest we lock this thread or throw it away in our trashbin section and continue our happy roleplay.

Your right, to ban a new admin is totally unjust especially if they did a small mistake and I am sure all admins have made minor communication mistakes as well as situation mistakes. However in the end since the new excuse is to do with Necromany and getting souls then it was innitially I guess we've got to look at the Necromany system. I'm going to try have a chat with afew people tonight and try relate the IC object "Book of the Damned" to the path of necromancy, that way it wouldnt just be people believing to stay strong you need souls but it would hopefully be a controlled system.

TL;DR, Im going to speak with some admins tonight and try to make the Necromancy side of Magic more suitable.

On the Ban attempt note I am not supporting this and this thread lacks evidence, think a copy and paste of a console log is enough? I can easily take your console log and make people state things that never happened (Bring a screen shot next time)
The admin is new enough however I can honestly say I do not even know him (Or atleast remember him). So I am going to take a blind shot in the dark and assume he is fairly new to the community itself since he believes people rob each other frequently but why are we recruiting admins that are so new to the community?

Either way theres a lack of evidence to really solve this case and judging by the aparent statements above that these two have robbed people frequently whether Necromany involved or not, they need to be set correct. I recommend a lock and neiling with on Server or Steam Friends.
