THE BUZZ: A truck said to contain 6000 copies of Modern Warfare 3 was stolen in France this weekend.

The truck reportedly crashed into another vehicle in South Paris before two masked individuals emerged, using tear gas to neutralize the drivers before jumping into the truck and driving off with more than 400,000 Euros worth of goods. Apparently the truck contained a shipment of 6000 copies of Activision’s Modern Warfare 3.

EGM’s TAKE: Luckily for Activision this robbery occurred close to the game’s official release date so it will be more a loss of revenue than leaked copies.

Looks like they really wanted to play Modern Warfare 3.....
