A man supposedly pushed beyond the limit by car troubles has vented his anger by tearing his broken-down vehicle apart in a fit of rage.

The apoplectic man is filmed punching a window out, ripping a door frame off and even climbing onto a van to launch himself onto the car's roof, wrestling style.

The overly dramatic scene has led some to question if this is a marketing stunt.

Shocked spectators - perhaps in on the act - are filmed cheering the man on as he attacks his car with passionate ire.
