What Roleplay Interests you the most?

Im trying to get more of a idea of what everyones most interested in, doing several projects at a time helps me spread my creativity around, as i tend to get developers block alot. What i am thinking at this momment in time is we  still need more varity in HGN with our roleplay projects. Fallout is pretty close to stalker, im still considering if we should still keep onto that idea, as i am the only one developing for that roleplay and it's quite unerving and irritating to get all the work done myself.

Sadly "If no one else can do it to your standards, do it yourself" comes to mind quite alot these days, Hostel is only willing to work on the Stalker map, and he's having a hard time getting inspiration for that. Im just updating people on whats going on in HGN. Im pretty busy with college at the momment myself, pulling off my usual tasks and leading a normal schedule is somewhat tuff.

So, progress, that's the main question here.

FALLOUT: I have most of the playermodels and general props done, im not sure what im going to use script wise, probably just Rad 1.5, although the main reason for all delays on projects, is that RAD 1.5 is still in development, i keep updating and working on that script, nad making spin offs will be pointless if it's still in development

STALKER: Well, apart from the general quality of roleplay, it's doing alright, the current map, although pretty, isn't exactly the best thing for roleplaying, theres a sheer lack of bases and unique features in the map, which is disappointing and removes alot of roleplay that could be. Hostel won't work on Chernobyl further, so it's stuck like that, so i started my own map awhile ago "Dead Sector" which for the time ive worked on it, it's coming along pretty well, so far it's one the compound from redemption, barns and checkpoint (what appears in cordon when you transition to the garbage) and a few various features, it's about 1/9 of hammer so far.

Tunddruff is still working on the Stalker content pack development, what he's doing is fairly straight forward, decompiling models, fixing any errors, and recompiling it back into the hgn path to keep everything neat. We are adding a new set of animations which i have developed, which include metrocop, hl2dm and other animations, to all the models. So new animations such as sleep will be avaliable, the vehicle animation is in there too, but im still not considering vehicles for srp.

The script has progressed quite alot recently, as you may of noticed ive worked pretty hard to devise new features such as suit saving and weapon saving, it was not easy, but ive learnt quite alot over the last few months, and finally putting my idea's into code is very satisfing, i still have other plans for the script, such as a new anomoly system, although i really want you guys to keep giving me idea's! It's important that you give me feedback and idea's to help further stalkers development.

Crussaria: I lost the horse, when i reinstalled steam, i lost alot of data, but that happened to be the only thing i didn't backup, none the less i can easily recreate it, and perhaps even better this time around. Crussaria is a pretty big project, im looking into ways to attach props and other things, to help further Crussaria, one thing which is interesting that ive seen, is that multiple body mod, which allows you to have two ragdolls into one, so you can have a combine body and a male head.

I could develop that further, to allow players to attach a helmet and visually show it. I really want to develop something along the lines of oblivions customisation features for crussaria, but it's not easy, there arn't many people in gmod who are capable of achieving something like that.

I suppose, one major thing which is holding back all of our projects, is the maps, there are no maps which contain the features we need for Crussaria and we really are limited on developers in HGN which have enough skill to pull off such a thing to the scale and detail of what we want.

Pheonix: It's a wonderful idea right? I have not given up on this idea, but it's very hard, and as i said above, it's the map that we need to pull her off, i have Dark Angel working on a map for it, but it's pretty hard gaining developers to help work on the map and with the skill needed. Im glad Locke is starting to get more involved in mapping, but he needs to hurry up, because we need him to get onto the project.

I have been developing lots of playermodels for pheonix, i lost most of them due to the steam issue, but i can easily get them back, the main problem is getting a big varity and for it to work well. I was playing around with Kane and Lych models last night, although since my steam messed up, any model i decompile and recompile messes up the eyes and they go purple, im really not sure whats causing that, i at first considered it being that hl2 was not in my ep2 folder, but that's not the case because i tried the models in gmod and the same thing happened.

Hostile Conflict I did a small bit of work on this project a month or so ago, it's a fun project that i started from scratch, it's revolutionary for me because this script helped fill in the peices which i was unsure about when working with lua. The concept still stands of being Battlefield 2 in gmod, but with alot of my own idea's, i hope to finish this project eventually, but ive been leaning towards a more futureistic theme, i suppose my other project Alien Infestation is more appealing to me at the momment.

Alien Infestation This is a project i orginally started being influenced by the films, and playing natural selection, it gave me several idea's on what i wanted to accomplish with it. But due to the idea's being bound around Natural selection, it's somewhat off put the concept, since theres only several stages to the aliens life.

The basis for this gamemode, is that theres two teams, i orginally planned for there too be a kind of "conquest" gamemode, where both teams are equally balanced with players, marines setup defences, and the aliens go on the attack.

But playing the recent AVP game it's put me onto the thinking of one team starting off with a facehugger, and then infecting a human, who then turns into a alien himself and it goes on until either all marines are wiped out, or the queen is killed, i suppose the queen could pop up after some time, as a kind of "benifit" for being the starter alien. I really do need maps for this project, otherwise it will never take off, the only thing i need to really get out of the way atm for this project is making a script to allow aliens to scale up onto walls and ceilings.

Crussaria, most definately interests me the most. Possibly because it's not based on anything else as far as Im concerned, and thereofre there is more freedom to the RP.

Stalker and Fallout RP are my favorites and they should get most attention. Alien Infestation sounds cool too.

Assuming Fallout RP is the closest to actual completion I'd vote for that one, but if they were all at 0% I wouldn't be able to make up my mind as we've got too many good ideas here.

Ye' need to totally just fix everything SRP is lacking (Models, bugs etc) and THEN concentrate on another game mode, I'd say get RAD2 out (O god another Wipe) and then work on another script.

Also for Crussia...there are Dark Messiah models that are on Gmod.org I think.

At the moment, STALKER RP is a "defining" aspect of HGN, so I'd like to see more work on it (oh man I'm a hypocrite). The sleep and other animations sound interesting.

But Fallout RP is cool too, and Crussia is interesting.
