Reason for Ban/Unban: "Supposedly causing e-drama when the servers were down, spreading lies about Goose to ThY, Tom, SK, and being a douche."

I had joined the server to meet this ban. This is relating to when I was pissed how Goose was spreading info to players (me, and some other person I was talking to are people I know for sure; he may have said to many others or even just us) that HGN was never coming back up. Me, being pissed about this, had talked to Tom/SK/ThY about it, yet I never saw it ever go far. Goose had trolled about during a chat in SF (I don't have proof, it was during the SRP outage) saying that HGN was closing forever; I knew that this wasn't true, and immediately told him so. He proceeded to flame me, so I called him off once. After that, we removed each other and never spoke again. I spoke with another player on my friends list, he said that HGN was closing as well. I asked him if Goose told him so, to which he replied yes. All I have is proof of my ban, not of the actual conversation due to me thinking it was partially insignificant and that Goose would confess if confronted by another administration. Like I said, I never saw the case actually go far from me reporting him via SF. Did I go out of bounds by replying to Goose rudely? Perhaps so, although it was out of mere frustration that Goose himself was acting completely horrid with a shit attitude towards me, and I stepped out of line. However, a 2 week ban doesn't seem fit in my opinion. As for the "lies", they weren't lies. If anything, Goose was the one to lie.

since when 'being a douche' is a reason for a ban yet i see many people in hgn with an asshole attitude and nothing is done about it?

Goose was the one who banned me for two weeks.

As for the one who I mentioned, I believe it was Rarr. Not sure, I'll have to check.

Yes, the whole shenanigans that got me banned was when HGN was down.

It was then that Goose had spread rumours about HGN never coming back up.

Any one can say this I fail to see where you supplied logs to exile thy Duran or Tom all of which you made the same claim to.

All said, that's also an absurd reason to ban someone from SRP.

I would go so far as to say it's an abuse of your powers.

Honestly I've already talked to Duran about the ban twice now once before I banned him and he said he was fine with it and once after in which he was still fine with it, even stating that solidus should be happy his flags weren't stripped from him for what could be considered an extended ban.

I'm not too positive on this situation here, but...it sounds a little retarded, if I may say. C'mon guys...really? Goose, if you actually spread those rumors, meh...I can't say much. It seems you're all just pulling at eachother, but a ban...what the fridge? 'er, I have to sorta' go now, so please point out if I'm missing something...
