So that rumor about GSC being shut down and Stalker 2 being cancelled is apparently true, verified by tons of sources, including Rock Paper Shotgun, even though I don't know who they are. They also deleted their tweet about denying the cancellation of Stalker 2

If the words: Reportedly, anonymous source, rumor, suspicions, possibly, likely, gossip, or anything of that nature, is in a report, it. Is. Not. Confirmed. If these 'sources' aren't directly from the company that has made the game on their website on their network or by their REAL-LIFE words, it is most likely bullshit and I do not appreciate how the media would be pouncing on it.

Well i can give you a small spark of hope.

GSC Game World Promised that S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 will be released at least they will do everything for it.

Generaly, TBD. The plot is divided into 2 episodes. The release of the first episode, scheduled for spring 2011 and tells of the arrival of the protagonist in the Zone and seek ways to revive his son, the plot of the hero will assist the familiar characters from the book «Слепое пятно» (Book of the Russian writer Victor Nochkin in the universe S.T.A.L.K.E.R.).
