Loading is quick for me even quicker than in the vanilla. I think everyone hates the Stamina issue. And yes lack of bullets is quite annoying i know they want it to be realistic but 5 bullets on someone is abit riduclous. That said people do die alot quicker, did the dredge station mission to get some money and stabbed the first stalker then shot the other two with my AK 105 or what ever it is, they died with about 3 shots. So basicaly try and get headshots and always fire single shot, and when ever you can stab your enemies
EDIT: When you aim down your sight it zooms out a little so everything seems further away, anyone else get this?

Everyone post what gear you have.
Toz gunting shotgun: 12 buckshot shells 2 in shotung
AK 105: 30 rounds in mag and 98 spare
APS Stechin ( or what ever it called): 13 rounds spare, full 20 round mag
Some bandages, 3 medkits, army medkit, 2 anti rads, 2 vodka, bread, protein bar, 2 cans of tuna, antibiotics, 2 antidotes and 4 .45 rounds.
I have 8 grand currently and im thinking of spending about 2 on a revovler which uses .45 and 26 rounds for it. I have some ammo in my safebox like 20ish 9x19 and some .45

Don't understand this.. I install it to Call of Pripyat and when I open the game it's still vanilla.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Otto all i did was download it, saved it to import extracted in import and then looked for the stalker sign with misery next to it. I ran misery it installed it went on COp and it was on. Also if you want abit of a speedier start or want some ammo go to the bridge you get the gas from for bloodsucker mision in Zaton. There is a AK74u full condition and anout 150 rounds for 5.45 some 8x19 ammo and the documnets you get there you can sell to owl for 2400 RU. While you are there you might aswell get the gas tank and do the sucker mission for some more money.
EDIT: I already had COP installed. Also if you have some vodka spare give it to the Cardon or what ever the tech guys name is on the stalker boat. Reason is you can do the mission to find his pals getting a free sunrise suit and mask with small upgrades. Well that is if it is in this mod
EDIT 2: Did the sucker missions got loads of money did the techs mission and got sunrise mask and suit win! Also got AK 74 from the body. So i have a good suit now a better gun and money to upgrade it :D

Otto, if you've not modded your STALKER Call of Pripyat before you have to change a text line in the FSgame.ltx file in the main directory. Open it with Notepad.

Change the

$game_data$             = false| true|  $fs_root$|  to $game_data$             = true| true|  $fs_root$|


If you've already done this then it must be an installation problem.

When i installed it first i picked the 90 degree option. Found out when i started playing what it was so i installed it again using 55. Not sure if it's because of that but when i aim down my gun sights it zooms out a bit making it harder to kill enemies with aimed fire. So i have to basically fire from the hip all the time. Anyone know how to fix it or does everyone get this? Hopefully i don't have to reinstall it because wouldn't it lose my data? I don't really want to loose my save as i have good gear and i've played it quite a bit now doing missions etc

Help. Me. So, I downloaded this mod yesterday. It didn't work at all, I launched the game and it would crash after it loaded up a new game. Now note here that the game itself NEVER crashed it always (and still does) reads "X-Ray Engine 1.6 has stopped working.". So what I went to bed and figured I'd try again in the morning. That's exactly what I did. I did a FULL reinstall I wiped everything STALKER CoP off my computer along with the Misery mod and Patches. I reinstalled the game and ran it once. Then I edited the fsgame.ltx. (This is what the gamedata field currently reads "$game_data$             = true| true|  $fs_root$|            gamedata\" tell me if this is wrong). Then I installed the mod as well as the patch. I ran the game on it's highest settings and it ran for about 3 minutes until I reached the Skadovsk, then X-Ray engine crashed again. I thought maybe my computer couldn't handle this mod in the maximum setting, so I went down to the "High" setting. I ran my savegame from the very beginning and I crashed as soon as I reached the Skadovsk once again... Then when I tried to launch the game for the third time, I couldn't even get into the savegame at all. I've been tinkering with it for hours and the furthest I get is the main screen, My CoP version is up to date at 1.6.02 and I've done all I can. I REALLY want to play this mod but so far I've had no luck. Please help.

I had the same problem when trying to run it on a non-steam version of it.  I then tried running it on a copy I had on steam and it worked.

Sadly I don't have a Steam Copy of Call of Pripyat, however I could convert it to one using their add non-steam game button. I'll see if that works and report back. Thanks Otto.

I got COP on a disk and it works fine with misery? I didn't use anything to do with steam to get it working

Yeah well, it worked for me.  So I dunno, mods are weird.

Also, the amount of ammo you loot off bodies is absolutely retarded.  Three fucking rounds in an AK?

The only drive I see on there is the D drive which is my recovery drive... I don't have a single fucking clue why it's going in there. I told it to install in OS C.

Edit-

And even if it was requesting memory from that drive, that is the least used out of all three of my hard drives.

memory leaks in xr happen mostly due to failure in lua code, because stalker doesn't take a lot of resources at all.
