Stalker RP - Factions.

Loners, Ecologists, and the Traders' Union make up the SRP factions board.

If the Loners are an unstructured scattered bunch of Stalkers with no organization whatsoever, why not add the Mercenaries and Bandits. It's only fair, since these guys are in the same position: Scattered, unstructured, unorganized, no overall leader.
It makes no sense just to have the Loners up there. The Loners follow the same criteria as the Bandits and Mercenaries.
Adding a Bandits section to the factions board would certainly increase and encourage their popularity, since they are rare sights on the server these days without support.
Adding a Mercenaries section would help organize forum-wise stuff, instead of this stuff being posted in the Loners' section.

I've fought bandits tonight.. two of em had high tir weaponry some how... My guess is mono is either dying or dropping the G36s.

Two bandits, out of how many players on the server? Around 25 I think tonight.
Compare that to the number of Mercenaries and Loners these days.

The point of the loners in the forums are for groups to be created for them. Other than that, I see where you're coming from.

I agree but right now the process to get a board created for a player controlled faction takes too long. Maybe we should streamline that process a bit.

It's a bit of a catch22, the player faction needs to take off to get a board but it's hard to take off and organize without one.

TBH Bandits cant function, think: Duty, Freedom and Loners had there own "map" (Area), where all on one map, it cant function like in the game, they had the Warehouse and they had ALOT of members.

Unless half the server goes bandit, then Bandits wont have a chane, and even then...Two well equipped anyones can take down alot or all of the bandits.

Your statement is completely flawed.
Mercs, bandits and Loners are completely different.

Bandits were once Stalkers, shanghaied to serve the Bandits at gunpoint. I doubt they wanted to become bandits. Look at the Somalian pirates for example, they don't want this life. They're doing it as a complete last resort.

Why do people rob each other SK? Because they have no other way of gaining money. It's a sign of desperation and a last resort, armed robbery.
When you hear young peoples' aspirations in life, you hear stuff like- "I want to be an English teacher" and "I want to be a police officer" and stuff. You don't hear "I want to steal, and rob from people."

Why doesn't the TU fall under the Loner category? Traders were once Stalkers judging by their age and experience / knowledge of the Zone.
As said, it makes no sense keeping Bandits and Mercenaries out of the forums as they are DIFFERENT.

First off, learn to spell.
Second off:
If Bandits can't function, then why do we have Bandit flags? Why do we have the suits and models on the server if they cannot function?
Seems rather pointless having the content available if they cannot function.
They are in mass numbers in the Stalker games due to them being pathetically weak and because they are AI.
The Bandits in SRP have better armaments and better armour, they're also people; not dumbass AI. The weakest weapon a bandit has in SRP is a SIG pistol. I wouldn't call that .45 a weak weapon.
