This debate is not about the people, it's about the intolerant backwards- hateful religion of "peace" that we call islam. Here is where I stand on the issue. It's not impossible that Obama may be from Muslim origin, despite what he might say now since it is politically expedient to be a Christian when you are seeking political office in the United States, Obama might have joined the United Church of Christ to help purge any notion that he was a Muslim.  I mean, Tiger Woods is a Buddhist! Here are some facts. There is an Islamic justice system laid out in the Qaran called Sharia Law, which does strip women of many of what should be their natural rights and allows people to be stoned for the smallest of crimes, some of which may not even crimes in America such as adultery. Sharia Law is already institutionalized in the UK and serves as a double standard in laws there. Sharia Law has been proposed by Islamic politicians in places such as Germany, Sweden, among many other countries. The second fact is Taqiyya, which allows Muslims to purposely deceive non-Muslims if helps Islam.

You decide for yourself. In my opinion, I would reject a Muslim that is following the Qaran text accurately. On the other hand, there are Muslims (particularly US citizens) who cherry pick and follow parts of the Qaran that they only like, in which case there is no need to an Islamic religion, they might as well be following their own hearts like they already are rather than deceive themselves.
