The poll question sums it up. I've noticed loads of people in this community tend to rage hard on-servers and on-forums when you tell them how much of a shit you don't give about their opinion. What does the community believe?

When you don't care about someone else’s opinion it usually makes you very ignorant. Especially the way you have been acting.

I don't care about their opinion because I think it is invalid. Such as your post is invalid to the current topic at hand. And I don't care for their opinion because they don't care for mine, so it works two ways. I'll start giving a shit if they start giving a shit, and I'll be polite to anyone who's polite to me. Calling me ' ignorant ' isn't exactly the best conversation starter.

I believe people in this community rage when you don't care for their opinion because they believe they are the gods' gift to mankind, and their shit doesnt stink. That and there's also the possibility that they're immature kiddies with their mummy's computer and credit card, acting all high and mighty, and when someone brings them back to reality they chuck a shit fit.

You have to realize, your the only one who is thinking like this.

I'm going to relate this back to your thread about your group because that is where you got this view. Just look in the other group threads, people are always taking in others opinions.

If you take a pretty big sized community and you talk to a few of em your likely going to find some annoying troll or minge (even make a difference?) and some people that are just to stubborn to listen to anyone's idea but their own.
Now tell me a community were you wouldn't find a few? I don't think you could name one, unless it's very small. You shouldn't point fingers at HGN for a few that you don't like, we don't all act the same.

Locked, this is going to turn into a flame war.  When you come into a community and then immediately start criticizing people who politely disagree with you bad things will happen. And saying "I don't care about their opinion because it is invalid" is not a good way to promote healthy discussion about ways to improve your group/RP/etc. So we're not going to do this.
