Scooter crash today

I was walking on my way to school with a friend of mine, when we wanted to cross the road, a scooter came driving. My friend thought he could cross the road before the scooter would reach him. Unfortunately, he didn't. Both were badly hurt and had to go to the hospital. I got sent home from school, because I needed time to recover. Seeing something like that can be traumatizing.
Just wanted to share, this is my first post.

No worries, the doctors said that both of them will be out of the hospital again in no time.

Hopefully not, you could've injured him even more.

The least you could do is treat him for shock and try to bandage any minor lacerations. It won't kill you to do first aid.

In germany we need to learn first aid in School in, let me think, around class 7-9, dunno right now.

It's not hard, really. At least learn how to put them in a recovery position. It'll help, totally. How many times did kids from a school coming back home and seeing an accident help and save people's lives?

I learned how to treat basic trauma injuries in first grade. Its really not hard at all. Most kids in my city learn through the scouts or some other extracurricular activity.
