Let's say I set up a World of Warcraft Private Server.

Would HGN support it?

It'd be an RP server and likely situated before Cataclysm, if not before WOTLK.

Obviously it'd be free to play. I would not, I repeat not make HGN admins WoW admins. Possibly GMs if they asked nicely.

Tundruff used to run one that was backed by HGN but LE's tendency to try to micromanage ruined it. Knowing your tendency to be controlling, I doubt it'd be any different.

It failed because nobody wanted to play. Tunddruff did an excellent job, but Silver basically kicked him out when he said he didn't want to basically rewrite the entire game's code to suit Silver's needs. Or something like that.

Anyways, I've thought of re-doing a private server before, but I never wanted to post it because I knew the majority would be "omg servers were inactive idea dumb me no play"

I've tried WoW. Was pretty fun. Heard that RP in it can be pretty good, although you have to find someone who is willing to RP.
So I'd support the idea. But as Dug said, it needs to be worked on.
