I am astonished there isn't a Star Wars RP server yet in Gmod (well there's that one but it's more of an RPG). I would approve.

I would do star wars roleplay but we have enough roleplay projects for one day. I suppose it still is a huge gap in the market and ive considered it several times, but if i hop from fallout to it. Then it would just die and ive already pumped enough time into that. We were going to do Star Wars roleplay some time ago, it's a shame we didn't take that opportunity. If Half Life 2 Dies then we can have it, but that's unlikely even though both are very similar in alot of respects - or at least on some of the planets.

People will powergame the shit out of them and instead make people can only be force senstive and not Jedi Or Sith cept good RPers

You should use simple civilians. Imperials and Rebels (If you go with that time period).

Droids for donators or some other reason.

As for factions.
-Rebels(Good)
-Imperials(Bad)
-Bounty Hunters.(Neutral Bad)
-Droids. (Inheritantly Neutral)
-Civilians.(Neutral)
-Criminals.(Inheritantly Bad)
-Planet Security Forces(Inheritantly Good)
-Certain Aliens Factions(Depends on Alien)

I think we could do this well since the Rebels are heavily outnumbered in terms of alignment.

We could limit Jedi to low-level Knights and say there's an academy somewhere.

I dunno, it needs consideration at this time.

The other obvious solution is to make everyone a jedi/sith and set this during the Kotor/Old Republic timeline. Jedi aren't invincible. In the movies they are portrayed as super powerful because the movies focus on the most powerful jedi/sith but not every jedi is Obi Wan Kenobi nor is every person who uses a blaster a storm trooper.

Jedi can use lasers rifles. They'd probably be extremely awesome.

It'd be better to put it either in the Clone Wars or when the rebellion started. Otherwilse you'd have to make a lot of models,maps and weapons and so yourself, but there's enough content based on the movies.

Possible settings:
Star Destroyer/Clone Starship/Calarmari Cruiser/Spaceship
Space Station
Polis Massa (I like this one!)
Planet/City/Town/Outpost or something
The one Tatooine Map I posted

Feasible Organizations:
Sith (Not in Cities! Exteremely Rare in Rebellion Era. Available in All Eras. Extremely common in Hyperspace Era.)
Jedi (Same!)
Rebels (All eras. No doubt there was rebels against the Galactic and Pre-Imperial Republic. Obviously more important in Rebellion Era.)
Imperial Stormtroopers (Conscripts and SOME Clones. Rebellion Era only.)
Galactic Troopers (Galactric Republic Era Only. Conscripts. Guards & Soldiers.)
Clone Troopers (Clone Era only. They're Army units only.)
Town Watch/Militia (Conscripts. All Eras. More common in Clone Wars Era)
Sith Troopers (War Eras ONLY. EXTREMELY common in those eras.)
