World War 1 Roleplay

So, as many people thought it would be interesting, I've decided to propose WW1 RP. Centered around the British Army's Queen Victoria's Rifles, also known as the 9th London Regiment, and the Ober-Elsässiches Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 171.

In our fictional canon, the 9th London Regiment has ran into battle with the Nr. 171, who had been waiting for them. After a long battle, the 9th London Regiment and the Nr. 171 where both worn out, the London Regiment has successfully taken a trench, a rather large trench, and are now living in it. Continuous battle happens, and bullets seem to be fired daily, both sides running low on medical supplies, with no convoy coming for help, the wounded usually die.

I was thinking for this it would be two very large trenches across from each other, in front of both, a large no mans land, with barbed wire and minefields, of course, it's not a very good idea I admit. By the time Christmas rolls around, it would be a strictly passive RP only event, and then we'd go back to normal.

Of course, I'm always open for suggestions.

I could make that map you described, should be easy enough.
The content will be hard to come by, though.
There's a WW1 Source mod, I bet I could hex the models from it.

Although I won't do it in HGN due to very limited access.

I'd play WW1 RP regardless if it was on HGN or not.

It might be a good idea, in my opinion. I know I would play it.
