Actually, The picture above was proven fake and was told fake by Gabe himself, saying that Episode 3 won't be at E3, But there's rumors going around that Valves making a new Source Engine, and another rumor is along with the Engine, will be Half Life 3, played on the Engine at E3. But of course, it's just a rumor, there's also one that Valve is putting Duke Nukeman Forever on Steam.

I could care less for the Engineer update. (/me has less than an hour as engineer.) But, I'm with you on more Half-Life.
